Titanium Dioxide price continuously surged up in the last week in the global market. TiO2 Price witnessed in the range of US$ 3950-4500/ton CFR Asia for the bulk quantity. In China, Titanium Dioxide price followed upward trend the last week. Price of Titanium dioxide increased due to tight supply and strong demand from the downstream market in the last week. Price of TiO2 Anatase grade was in the range of US$ 2750-3300/ton in the Chinese domestic market, whereas, Rutile grade was in the range of US$ 2700-3400/ton. In Europe, Prices of Titanium dioxide were in the range of € 3010-3500/ton CIF Northern Europe for the bulk quantity. DuPont Titanium Technologies, Huntsman, Tronox Inc.,and Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha Ltd (ISK), then subsequently in the last week, Kronos Worldwide, Inc and Cristal Global announced price increase of all grade of TiO2, effective from April 1, 2012.
